My precious...
My precious - aka my digital camera - has finally arrived! It's so cute and little... and I finally got to take pictures!!! Check out my photo album.
And here are the yarns I bought at www.ewas-sockenwolle.de: The first one is Cosmeea, my choice for my Sockapal2za-Pal. She said she likes blue, purple and lila, so I hope Cosmeea will suit her. My precious captures the color quite well.
And this is how far I got with her sock last night
It's a simple rib-pattern, I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo. It's plainly k2p2; I had thought of doing a cable-pattern, but the yarn is too complicated to look at as a cable. It just gives you a headache. What also bothers me, I started knitting this sock on EUR-size 2 needles (US 0); and they're just so thin! I feel as if it will take ages to finish at least one sock. But now I think I have come too far to rip it all up... so I guess I have to continue with these needles.
My next purchase was Johannisbeere (red currant). It's quite... red-red, with a hint of black (actually, it's three red threads and one black one, that makes red-red-red). It's actually a stronger red than in the pic.
Do you like the little elephant?
And finally, we come to Zuckersüss (sweet as sugar). I am not sure what to make of this one... when I bought it I hadn't noticed that it had a glittery thread in it (you can't really see it in the photo).
I don't quite know if I like this yarn... do you?
