The turn of the heel
I turned the heel on the sock for my pal.

But I will have to undo at least a part of the heel. See that little flap down there? It's just excess heel. I followed some instructions for that kind of heel, and that's the result.

Right now, I am actually thinking of ripping up the whole heel and making the leg part a bit longer. It looked long enough, but then I tried it on... do you think I should make it longer?

The cute pink cardigan I'm maybe planning on knitting is not from Rebecca Magazine #29 but from #27! I got the editions mixed up.

The socks are lovely. That yarn is very special. Not sure about the flap on the heel flap. What's it supposed to be for??

Thanks Lola Lee! I will make it longer.
@alison: I'm glad you like the yarn!
I followed the instruction which said to keep only 5 stitches in the middle part, then turning the heel. I kept 6 stitches, and they make a flap. I guess that I should keep 16 stitches instead... that should be ok.
